Our mission

It is the aim of Milton Friedman Univeristy and its maintainer, the Hungarian Unified Jewish Congregation (EMIH), that the rejuvenated institution will play a decisive role in Hungarian higher education. To this end, it is launching new courses and programs in specific areas where there is a shortage of qualified professionals.  Already available at the university is a Sports Facility Management post-graduate program, an undergraduate degree in Community Services Management, on-line Finance and Accounting, Digital Editing and the first Private Pilot Licence (PPL) program in Hungary that is taught at the univeristy level.

In its efforts to transform the university, the management of the institution has created four organizational units that are different  and separate from one another, yet work together effectively as a whole. The following four faculties will be established in the very near future:  Faculty of Economics and Informatics,  Faculty of Social Sciences,  Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Theology.

In line with needs of the business world, Milton plans to launch a number of new specializations in the fields of commerce, marketing and tourism. Plans also include social and art-related courses and programs.  As a first step, the Faculty of Pedagogy will train economics teachers and as the infrastructure develops, nursery school/kindergarten  teachers and basic teacher training.
